Acerola- Rich in Vitamin C and Minerals

Acerola is one of the healthiest natural reservoirs of ascorbic acid. Acerola comprises many phytonutrients like carotenoid phenolics, anthocyanins, and flavonoids. As per the NCBI, the fruit contains an excessive amount of ascorbic acid in the range of 1500–4500 mg/100 g, which is around 50–100 times than that of orange or lemon. The fruit is a rich source of Vitamin C; it also contains a variety of vital vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals that benefit our body.

It is native to Central and South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. It is similar to the cherry in shape and color.

It is used universally as a powerful treatment for the common cold, hay fever, depression, gum infection, tooth decay, and numerous other health issues. Acerola is extremely low in fat and calories. It helps to boost our immunity and fight inflammation in the body.

For the past one year, I have been giving Salus, Acerola Juice, to my kids to boost their immunity, which is more relevant currently due to COVID 19. It has undoubtedly worked as I can feel the difference. The regular cough and cold and allergies, bothering my kids frequently, have diminished. Daily I mix the recommended quantity with the juice of my kids preference and serve them as immunity booster tonic. Acerola Juice alongside “Manuka Honey”

It’s unbelievable but my dependance on Tylenol, advil and Aerius has reduced immensely due to the above combination. Covid 19 has terrified everyone but my trust on these 2 magical ingredient is huge!

I have included the details of the product below.

The fruits for our Acerola fresh plant juice grow in northeast Brasil on sandy soil and on trees which are up to 5 meters high – of course in organic cultivation. Acerola is one of the fruits with the highest vitamin C levels in the world, it contains 30 times more vitamin C than lemons. Acerola pure fresh plant juice is also suitable for people who are allergic to citrus fruits. Compared to synthetically produced vitamin C the acerola fruit contains other substances in a unique natural composition. This natural composition, according to today’s knowledge, increases the cell-protecting effect of the vitamin C. As the human body cannot produce vitamin C itself, it depends on a sufficient external supply. Under certain circumstances (e.g. common cold, pregnancy and lactation, stress and smoking) the need of vitamin C increases. Vitamin C participates in:
– a normal function of the immune system
– protecting the cells from oxidative stress
– a normal energy metabolism
– the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
– a normal function of the nerve system
– increase of iron absorption.
Due to natural processes, flocculations and sediments can be formed in the fresh plant juices as well as colour differences and turbitiy. These natural processes do not affect the quality and effect of the product at all. Every batch has its own character, differences in taste are therefore possible and completely natural.
